The early morning at MWC brings the jungle alive with bird songs and the rustlings of animals through the tree top canopy. To step into this unique environment MWC has a 120 foot high spiral staircase that leads to a canopy platform.
Here in the high tree tops the Amazon morning stirs with a flurry of parrots, birds, and monkeys, all in a spectacle of nature that has proceeded man's view for thousands of years.

Back at the MWC Lodge, breakfast is waiting and the boatmen are preparing for our journey to continue. Off of the Madre de Dios River and on to the Blanco River for a river ride into the heart of the BioStation reserve.
